ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Nevada women’s golf team took 13th place on Saturday at the Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by New Mexico.

Nevada was led by junior Bethany Wurster, who shot 75-76-76 to finish at 227 and tied for 34th at the 16-team field, which featured a number of top teams from around the country.

Junior Nikki Prichard tied for 51st at 233 and sophomore Caryn Khoo was a shot back of Prichard and tied for 56th. Senior Joyce Chong was 87th and freshman Jordan Keyser was 90th.

Pepperdine won the team event, followed by Oregon, Iowa State and Northwestern.

The Pack will return to action in two weeks at a tournament hosted by New Mexico State.
