Nevada Sixth Heading into the Final Round of the Fresno Lexus Classic

FRESNO, Calif. - Three golfers are in the top-25 after the first two rounds of the Fresno Lexus Classic, hosted by Fresno State.

Sophomore Nikki Prichard and freshman Caryn Khoo are both tied for 16th, senior Louise Yi is tied for 22nd heading into the final round. Prichard shot rounds of 77 and 74, and sits at a seven-over 151. Khoo shot rounds of 74 and 77 and finished with a seven-over 151. Senior Louise Yi sits at an eight-over 152 after shooting rounds of 75 and 77.

Freshman Carly Simpson finished tied for 28th after shooting rounds of 77 and 76, and sits at a nine-over 153. Sophomore Bethany Wurster finished tied for 42nd with an 11-over 155 after shooting rounds of 76 and 79.

As a team Nevada is in sixth place after with a 30-over 606, and sits 12 shots out of first place.

Sophomore Tess Jones is competing individually and is 76th heading into the final round. Jones' score does not count toward the team score.

Tulsa is leading the tournament with an 18-over 594. Long Beach State's Simone Hoey is leading the individual race with a three-under 141.

The final 18-hole round will be on Tuesday.
