Nevada 15th After First Round in Maui.

KAPALUA, Hawaii – The Nevada women’s golf team is in 15th place after Monday’s first round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic hosted by the University of Hawai`i.
Nevada saw a pair of 75s from freshmen Caryn Khoo and Carly Simpson to lead the way on Monday as the duo is tied for 31st after the first 18 holes. Senior Louise Yi shot 78 and sophomore Nikki Prichard came in with 79 with sophomore Bethany Wurster shooting 82.
The Pack’s team score of 307 has it 22 shots behind first-place Pepperdine, which opened with a 285 at the famed Bay Course at Kapalua Resort.
Arizona State’s Noemi Jimenez and Pepperdine’s Grace Na are tied for the individual lead after each shot a 5-under 67 on Monday.
The 54-hole tournament continues on Tuesday and concludes Wednesday.
