SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Nevada women’s golf team took 11th on Tuesday at the UC Irvine Invitational hosted by UC Irvine.

Nevada was led by freshman Jordan Keyser and sophomore Caryn Khoo, who finished tied for 37th after shooting a 17-over 233.

Sophomore Carly Simpson finished two strokes back at 235 and finished tied for 41st. Juniors Nikki Prichard and Bethany Wurster finished tied for 44th and 67th.

Stanford won the tournament with an even-par 864. Stanford’s Mariah Stackhouse won the individual tournament with a four-under 212.

Nevada will be back in action next week when it heads to California to play in Juli Inkster Spartan Invite, hosted by San Jose State.
