Nevada 1999-’00: Had an excellent year earning top medalist at four consecutive tournaments, finishing second once and thrid twice, including at the Big West Conference Tournament. Qualified for the NCAA West Regional tournament where she shot a four-over-par 220 to finish in a tie for 13th. Was named Big West Conferene Player of the Year for the second straight year with her 74.5 average.
1998-’99: Placed first once at the Rainbow Wahine Tournament and had nine top 10 finishes out of 11 tournaments. She finished second at both the Big West Conference Tournament and the NCAA West Regionals by shooting one-under-par 215. Finished ninth at the NCAA Championships, and named an NCAA All-American and Big West Conference Player of the Year.
1997-’98: Won two tournaments, the Alidila Classic and the Northridge Women’s Classic, in her first colleigiate season. Finsihed in the top 10 six times including a fifth-place finish at the Big West Conference Tournament.
High School: Attended Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, Calif., where she earned four varsity letters in golf. She was a member of the 1995 East Conference Champions and recieved all-conference awards every season.
Personal: She is pursuing a career in physical therapy and is majoring in heath ecology. She came to the University of Nevada because of its beautiful campus, the good reputation of the school and the golf team. Her most memorable moment was making it to nationals and placing ninth in 1999. Daughter of Phil and Wendy Yoon. Born 5/1/79.
