The Wolf Pack women’s basketball team (4-3) will close out a four-game home stand Tuesday night against BYU (6-0) at Lawlor Events Center. Tip-off is 6:30 p.m. The Cougars lead the overall series with the Wolf Pack 6-1. BYU defeated Nevada 84-53 in Provo during the 2011-12 season, where Wolf Pack guard Danika Sharp led the team with 14 points.

The University of Nevada women's basketball fell to BYU 84-53 Thursday afternoon.

BYU is led by Jeniffer Hamson’s 19.3 ppg., and 10.2 rpg. The Cougars travel to Reno after picking up a home 80-73 win over Washington State last Tuesday, before defeating Arizona 64-56 at home Sunday.

Women’s Basketball Timeout Luncheons Begin Monday
Join University of Nevada head women's basketball coach Jane Albright at the John Ascuaga's Nugget  for her timeout luncheons Monday, Dec. 2, Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Tuesday, Feb. 4. The timeout luncheons are open to the public and are held in support of the women's basketball program.

The lunch includes a gourmet buffet prepared by the Nugget, as well as game re-caps and previews from coach Albright.  Doors open at 11:30 a.m. in Ballroom Southern Pacific CDEF and the cost is $17.  Those in attendance will have an opportunity to ask questions of the sixth-year Nevada head coach.
