Fans are in free with canned food donation

The University of Nevada women's basketball team (2-2 MW) will face Cal State East Bay (2-3 CCAA) Monday night at Lawlor Events Center. Tip-off is 6:30 p.m.
With the holiday season approaching, the University of Nevada athletics department will provide free admission to fans who bring canned good items to the game. The donations will be distributed by the Food Bank of Northern Nevada this holiday season.
The meeting is a first between the two programs. Cal State East Bay is currently on a two-game winning streak, defeating Dominican (CA) 90-51at home on Nov. 16 and claiming an 91-83 road win at the Academy of Art on Nov. 17. The Pioneers are led by Brianna Terrance's 14.4 ppg., and 4.4 rpg.
