RENO, Nev. - University of Nevada women's basketball senior-to-be Tahnee Robinson was a guest speaker at the Walker River Community Coalition in Schurz, Nev., on June, 1.
Robinson spoke to a group of over 250 Native Americans sharing her message to empower youth to live the best they can while being substance free. Robinson, who is Shoshone, Pawnee, Cheyenne and Sioux, spoke at the event along with Nevada head coach Jane Albright.
The night also featured other speakers who shared a similar message about living substance free.
