Women's Basketball Offering Free "Pack Gives Back" Clinics

RENO, Nev. -

The University of Nevada women's basketball team will be holding two free "Pack Gives Back" clinics for children as a way of thanking the Northern Nevada community for its support during the season.

The free clinics will be offered for girls aged kindergarten through eighth grade at Lawlor Events Center.  The first clinic will take place on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The second clinic will be held on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Registration will begin each day at the Virginia Street level entrance at 8:30 a.m. Each clinic will be limited to the first 100 who register, with a limit of one clinic per child, based on availability.  Participants will receive a free Nevada women's basketball t-shirt.

Parents or guardians of interested girls are asked to call Nevada assistant coach Jacie Capra at (775) 682-6924 starting April 11 to register.
