NEVADA WOLF PACK (7-9, 2-3 MW) VS. FRESNO STATE (11-6, 5-1 MW)
JAN. 22, 2014
Lawlor Events Center
6:30 P.M. PT
INTERNET BROADCAST: The game will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network at www.NevadaWolfPack.TV (web/mobile). An audio-only broadcast, featuring the Wolf Pack Radio Network call, is available at NevadaWolfPack.com/audio.
RADIO: Don Marchand (play-by-play) has the call in Northern Nevada on ESPN Radio 1450 AM. Pregame show starts 15 minutes before tip-off.
SERIES: Fresno State leads the overall series between the teams at 31-10. Nevada is 8-13 in the series in games played in Reno (and just 2-18 in Fresno).
LAST MEETING: The Wolf Pack pulled off a 60-54 win in Fresno -- just the second win for Nevada ever on the road in the series -- last season.
THE SKINNY: Coming off a tough road loss at Boise State, in which Nevada nearly came back from a 16-point deficit, Nevada looks to rebound with two home games this week. First up for the Pack is a familiar Fresno State team that comes in with a share of the Mountain West lead. The teams have played at least twice every season (three times in 2008-09) since the 2000-01 campaign and have met at least once per season since 1995-96. The series dates back to 1979-80. At 2-3 in conference play, Nevada has already equaled it’s MW win total from last season, just five games in to league play.
