Women's Basketball Wins Nugget Classic

The University of Nevada women’s basketball team (6-10, 1-2 MW) will head to San Diego, Calif., for a road game against San Diego State (12-5, 3-1 MW) Wednesday evening at Viejas Arena. Tip-off is 7:00 p.m.

The overall series between the two programs is tied at 3-3. Nevada defeated San Diego State in the last meeting during the 2010-11 season, with a 63-61 victory in the championship game of the Nugget Classic in Reno. Tahnee Robinson led the Wolf Pack in the win with 20 points. The Aztecs are currently on a three-game win streak. The team is coming off of a 66-43 home win over Wyoming last Saturday. Senior guard Courtney Clements leads San Diego State with 17.4 ppg.
