Wyoming Outlasts Nevada, 66-65
The University of Nevada women's basketball team dropped a close 66-65 decision to Wyoming Wednesday night at Lawlor Events Center.

The Wolf Pack women’s basketball team (6-6, 1-0 MW) will travel to Laramie, Wyo., to face the Cowgirls (9-2, 0-0 MW) Saturday afternoon in the team’s first Mountain West road trip. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. PT.

Wyoming enters conference play on a five-game win streak, with the last lost occurring in a 63-59 loss to Colorado on Dec. 4. The Cowgirls last contest took place on Dec. 21, where the team defeated Idaho 72-64 on the road. Wyoming leads the overall series with Nevada 10-4. The last time the Wolf Pack defeated the Cowgirls was in a 90-81 overtime home win during the 2000-01 season. Preseason player of the year Kayla Woodward leads Wyoming with 17 points per game.

The game is available to watch online for free through the Mountain West Network via Gowyo.com. A free Stretch Internet audio broadcast is available at http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/nevada.portal
