1998-99 Sophomore: Started in four of the team?s 28 games, averaging 16.8 minutes. Connected on 74.4 percent from the free-throw line. Scored a season-high 14 points against UC Irvine on 1/8/99, hitting 6-of-7 from the field and pulling down four rebounds.
1997-98 Freshman: Played in 22 games, averaging 10.8 minutes per game.
High School: Earned seven letters competing in basketball, cross country, and softball at Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Ore. She was a member of the conference championship basketball seasons of 1995-97. Heer was also named Valley League Player -of -the-Year and was second team all-state in 1997.
Personal: A physical education major. Born 5/16/79. Daughter of Bill Heer and Patty Ispas. Turned down a scholarship offer from the University of Denver to come to Nevada. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, going to Lake Tahoe, dancing, listening to music, ice cream, and chocolate.
Coach Gee: ?Angie is coming off an excellent junior season. This year should be even better for her. I feel she?s playing with much more confidence and her improved leadership on the floor will be something we rely on. She is a point guard who is a very capable scorer. Her defensive intensity will help us estbalish the type of mentality we need to shut people down.?
