RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team will conclude its fall season when play begins at the Pacific Tigers Invitational on Friday in Stockton.
The Wolf Pack travels to Stockton on Thursday in preparation for the Pacific Tigers Invitational, which begins with doubles play. So far this fall, the Pack has won a tournament title in both singles and doubles play. Head coach Erik Burton is excited for the weekend, and what it brings after.
"We definitely want to finish the fall with good matches, giving each student-athlete time on the court," he said. "After, we wont be in action until our spring season. We will have more matches at home, which will give us a reason to continue our efforts on the road. Building champions takes time, and our efforts everyday will show our team strength."
Both co-captains Quentin Mege and Victor Ouvrard have won singles titles this fall, with Mege winning his singles draw at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational, while Ouvrard teamed with Robert Allan to win the consolation doubles title at the ITA Mountain Regionals.
Five total players will represent the Pack while in Stockton when play begins Friday morning.
