Three Nevada Tennis Players Named ITA Scholar Athletes
Derbel, Hinojosa and Sunago Honored

RENO, Nev. - Three members of the University of Nevada men's tennis team have been named scholar athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.  Ouassim Derbel, Philip Hinojosa and Fernando Sunago have been recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom.

Derbel from La Marsa, Tunisia was a first-team Western Athletic Conference selection after posting a 24-9 record in dual play as a senior last season.  Hinojosa is a local Reno product and went 3-8 in singles play his sophomore season.  Sunago is from Las Vegas and won 11 singles matches as a freshman in 2011-12.
