Two Rankings for Wolf Pack

Jan. 9, 2013

RENO, Nev. - Two players from the University of Nevada men's tennis team have been ranked in the top ten in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain rankings.

Victor Ouvrard was listed at No. 10 in the ITA Mountain Singles rankings released earlier this month. The ranking is the first preseason ranking for Ouvrard, and the first for a Wolf Pack player since Wessim Derbel was ranked No. 8 in 2010.

Ouvrard also cracked the top ten in the ITA Mountain Doubles rankings with partner Fernando Sunago. Together, the team was listed at No. 7, the first doubles ranking for a Wolf Pack pair under head coach Erik Burton.

The Wolf Pack will begin the season on Jan. 15 on the road against UC Irvine.
