Chargui wins a title for Nevada

STOCKTON, Calif. - On the final day of action at the Pacific Tigers Invitational, the University of Nevada men's tennis team is bringing home a championship.

The Wolf Pack had two championship matches on the final day of action in Stockton, Calif. and came away with one champion. Moez Chargui, the No. 1 seed in the Men's Open Singles B draw, he defeated Kyle Miller in a convincing fashion 6-1, 6-2.

"Our guys got some good matches in this weekend," head coach Erik Burtonsaid. "Now we prepare for the holiday break and the season next spring."

The team of Billy Bumgardner and Fernando Sunagomade it to the finals of the Men's Open Doubles consolation draw before falling to Adam Luba and Kyle Miller of UC Davis.

The Wolf Pack begin its spring season on Jan. 16, 2014 in Riverside, Calif.
