LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team secured two doubles victories to set up a finals match at the ITA Mountain Regionals.
On the second to last day in Las Vegas, the Pack picked up two doubles victories from the team of Victor Ouvrard and Robert Allan to reach the finals in their consolation doubles draw. The team is the last Wolf Pack members remaining in the tournament and hopes to close out the final day with a victory.
"We have a great chance to finish strong tomorrow," said head coach Erik Burton.
Ouvrard and Allan ousted Todd Fought and Jakub Gewert of Wichita State 8-6 before they eliminated the No. 9 seeded team of Tamas Batyi and Willie Sublette of UNLV 8-6. They match up tomorrow against Ben Gendron and Austin Mayo of Northern Colorado in the finals.
