The men's 2011-12 team in action

Derbel joins the Nevada staff as an Undergraduate Assistant Coach after concluding a stellar playing career for the Wolf Pack last season.

Derbel ended his career third in all-time singles wins at 66. In 2011-12, he won 24 singles matches and earned the second first-team singles honor of his career. The La Marsa, Tunisia native made an immediate impact on the court when he arrived on campus in 2008, playing a key role from the first match of his career.

"As I did when I arrived as a player, I hope to make an impact on our team right away as a coach," Derbel said.
