2011-12 Nevada Men's Tennis

The men's 2011-12 team in action

At Nevada: 2011-12: (Sophomore) Hampered by injury for a good deal of the season Reix still managed to win three times on the singles courts and 10 times in doubles play with three partners ... Posted his best doubles record playing alongside Moez Echargui as the pair was 6-9 with a 2-1 record in WAC play near the conclusion of the regular season. 2010-11: (Freshman) Earned his first career win playing alongside fellow freshman Quentin Mege on April 3, when the pair defeated Ethan Vaughn and Andrew Warren of Montana 8-5 ... Won his first singles match a week later against Sonoma State on senior day in Reno ... Won two singles matches in the Fall and totaled three for the season ... Also won two doubles matches on the year.

Prior to Nevada: Attended Lycee du Sacre Coeur in his hometown of Amiens, France.

Personal: Son of Nicole and Thierry Reix ... Has two brothers, Clement and Boris Reix ... Ages 26 and 23 ... Majoring in Business ... Decided on Nevada because of the coaching staff and community ... Lists sports heroes of Marat Safin and Didier Drogba ... In his spare time he plays soccer and watches TV.
