The men's 2011-12 team in action

At Nevada: 2013-14 (Junior):Sunago posted a 15-8 record in 2013-14, a career best ... He was 11-5 in dual action, and had a record of 7-3 from court six ... In doubles play, Sunago was 12-12 with partner Andrew Poustie, while 10-9 in dual action.2012-13 (Sophomore): Sunago was 12-17 on the season with a 6-12 dual play mark and a 2-3 conference record from the middle of the singles rotation. He was named to the All-Mountain West doubles team with partner Andrew Poustie. Together, they were 9-4 in dual play and 5-1 in conference action. He is expected to return to the middle of the singles line up this season. "Fernando is a big time work horse on our roster. He will bring huge depth to the line up as an upperclassman. One of the key factors for Fernando is consistent progress," head coach Erik Burton said.2011-12: (Freshman) Was one of five Nevada players and two newcomers to win double-digit singles matches with 11 ... Was 9-10 in dual play and shined in conference action, posting a 4-1 WAC record ... Joined senior Wessim Derbel on the Pack's most consistent doubles team as the two went 14-13 overall and 11-10 in dual play at No. 1.

Prior to Nevada: A graduate of Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nevada ...A three-time Nevada State Champion ... Made the round of 16 at the United States Tennis Association Winter National Championships (under-18) Doubles ... Round of 32 participant at USTA National ClayCourt Championships (under-18) Doubles ... Ranked inside the top 130 by the USTA while in high school.
