RENO, Nev. – Coming off a strong season-opening performance, the Nevada men’s golf team will head back to Colorado for this week’s Ram Masters Invitational, hosted by Colorado State.

The 15-team tournament will be played at Fort Collins Country Club, with 36 holes scheduled for Monday and the final 18-hole round on Tuesday. Nevada will send seniors Ryan Mulvany, Brian Knoll, Josh Baskins, juniors Gustavo Chuang and Nicholas Smits and freshman Rhyne Jones to the tournament. Chuang will be competing as an individual.

“This course has been fortunate to miss the brunt of the rain and flooding that this area has experienced recently,” Nevada coach Jacob Wilner said. “But the course is wet and it’s supposed to rain this week. Our guys will grind it out and I’m hopeful for another strong performance this week.”
