Becher Moves Up 10 Spots at NCAA Southwest Regional
SANTEE, Calif. - Senior Jared Becher moved up 10 spots into eighth place after the second round of the 2010 NCAA Men's Southwest Regional, being held May 20-22 at the par-72, 7,360-yard Carlton Oaks Golf Course.
Becher, who is playing in the regional as an individual, carded a one-under 71 on Friday and moved from a tie for 18th into sole possession of eighth place with a two-round total of one-over 145 (74-71).
Nick Delio of Cal State Northridge, also playing as an individual, took over the individual lead after carding a three-under 69 in Friday's second round. At four-under 140 (71-69), he holds a one-stroke lead over a pair of players at three-under 141.

The top five teams and top individual not on those teams from the NCAA Southwest Regional will earn an invitation to the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship June 1-6 in Chattanooga, Tenn. The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga will play host to the national tournament at The Honors Course.
