TUCSON, Ariz. - The Nevada men's golf team is in Tucson, Ariz. to play in the Don Puckette National Invitational Tournament beginning on Saturday.
Nevada will be in a field of 16 teams in a 54-hole tournament, hosted by Arizona at the 7,094 yard, par-72 Omni Tucson National Golf Club.
The Wolf Pack will be led by juniors Ryan Mulvany and Brian Knoll, who make up the only upperclassmen on the team. Sophomores Taylor Knoll, Andrew Cornella, and Gustavo Chuang will make up the rest of the team.
Nevada will compete against host Arizona, Texas A&M, Arkansas, SMU, Oklahoma State, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, San Diego, TCU, New Mexico State, Wyoming, UTEP, and fellow Mountain West Conference members San Diego State, UNLV and New Mexico.
The tournament begins with 36-holes on Saturday and the final 18-hole tournament round on Sunday.
