TUCSON, Ariz. – The Nevada men’s golf team finished ninth at the Mountain West Championship.
Nevada carded a 19-over 303 in the final round and finished the tournament with a 66-over 918.
Junior Ryan Mulvany shot a three-over 74 in the final round and finished tied for 26th with a 11-over 224. Sophomore Gustavo Chuang finshed in 38th with a 19-over 232 after shooting a four-over 75 in the final round. Junior Brian Knoll also shot a four-over 75 and finished in 39th with a 20-over 233.
New Mexico won the tournament with an eight-under 844. UNLV’s Kevin Penner won the individual race with a seven-under 206.
