Nevada is 15th Heading Into the Final Round of the Don Puckette N.I.T

TUSCON, Ariz. - The Nevada men's golf team is 15th heading into the final round of the Don Puckette National Invitational Tournament hosted by Arizona.
A long first round caused a late day as Nevada finished the first round with a 14-over 304. Nevada came back for the late second round and improved with an 11-over 302. Nevada sits at a 31-over 607 for the tournament, and is three shots behind Hawai`i.
The Knoll brothers led the team for the first two rounds. Junior Brian Knoll shot a one-over 73 for the first round, and a four-over 76 for the second round. Knoll is tied for 56th with a five-over 149. Sophomore Taylor Knoll shot a seven-over 79 for the first round, then rebounded and shot a one-over 73 in the second round. The younger Knoll is tied for 70th with an eight-over 152.
Oklahoma State is in first place in the tournament with a 17-under 559. TCU's Julien Brun leads the individual race after shooting a 11-under 133 for the two rounds.
The final 18-hole round of the Don Puckette N.I.T will take place tomorrow starting at 8.
