Mulvany tied for 10th heading into the final round

ELK GROVE, Calif. – Senior Ryan Mulvany shot rounds of 74 and 71 and he is in 10th place heading into the final round of the Sacramento State Invitational.

Nevada shot 587 as a team and resides in fourth place overall, 13 strokes behind Loyola Marymount. Northern Colorado is in second and Chico State is in third place with the final 18 holes slated for Tuesday.

Brian Knoll is tied for 21 first after opening with a 72 and following that with a 76. Rhyne Jones, the reigning Mountain West Golfer of the Week, is a shot back, tied for 24th along with sophomore Kit Carson. Nicholas Smits is tied for 40th after a 77-76.

Nevada has three players competing as individuals at the tournament. Josh Baskins is tied for 24th, Gustavo Chuang is tied for 47th and Zach Berhost is tied for 66th.
