2003-04: Casey played in all six tournaments for the Wolf Pack in the fall season and was the Pack's top player. He averaged a team-best 71.4 strokes per round. His best finish was seventh in the Fresno State Lexus Classic at the Belmont Country Club. Casey posted 13 rounds of par or better, including a career-best 68 at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational. He also recorded four top-20 finishes and had 17 of his 18 rounds counted for the Pack. In the spring Casey competed in all six tournaments for Nevada. His best spring finish came at the WAC Tournament where he finished in second place and shot a two-under 211. He finished the season leading the team with a 72.1 strokes per round average and was named second team All-WAC.
2002-03: Did not play any rounds in the fall, but played in all five spring tournaments and averaged 76.0 strokes per round. His best finish was a tie for 23rd at the Ping Cougar Classic. Casey registered three rounds of par or better.
2001-02: Shot 224 (+8) to tie for 47th at the Wolf Pack Classic as an individual. Casey also played as an individual at the Lexus Classic and played one tournament as a squad member at Pacific, tying for 54th with a 229 (+13). He averaged 76.7 strokes per round.
High School: Lettered four years at Kauai High in Lihue, Hawaii. His team won the Kauai Interscholastic Federation championship all four years. Team MVP in both his junior and senior years.
Personal: Casey is a Biology major and is the son of Victor and Iris Watabu. Born 10/25/83. He enjoys going to the beach, fishing and free diving in his spare time. Casey lists Tiger Woods as his favorite sports figure. His grandfather played professional baseball in Japan.
