RENO, Nev. – Two additional television broadcasts of Nevada football have been added to the schedule this year, bringing the total to 10 of the Wolf Pack’s 12 games that will broadcast this season, including all six road games.
Time Warner Cable SportsNet, which launches Oct. 1, will broadcast Nevada’s Battle for the Fremont Cannon rivalry game at UNLV on Oct. 13 and Charter Communications will carry the game in Northern Nevada. Comcast New Mexico will produce the Wolf Pack’s game at New Mexico on Nov. 17 and Charter will carry that game as well.
Charter Communications will announce the specific channel location for the two games at a later date.
“I’m excited that all six of our road games this year will be carried on television so our fans have the opportunity to follow the action away from Mackay Stadium,” Nevada athletics director Cary Groth said. “We’re pleased to have 10 of our games on television this season as that is valuable exposure for our athletics program and I’m thankful for the hard work put in by the Mountain West and all of our television partners.”
