With 10 days remaining until the season opener at UCLA, the Nevada football team will hold another public scrimmage Wednesday afternoon at Mackay Stadium.
Wolf Pack fans are invited to Mackay Stadium for the scrimmage. The event is free and open to the public. Fans are asked to sit in the stands during the scrimmage. The main gates (southwest corner) at Mackay Stadium will be open. The team will be on the field at 4:30 p.m. and the scrimmage will begin shortly after 5 p.m.
I like where we are at right now,” coach Brian Polian said. “We’ve done a pretty good job of identifying who the two-deep is going to be. We’ve got three or four positions where there’s still a little bit of competition going up until (tonight).
“Now we’ve just got to get tightened up before the first ballgame.”
The scrimmage will mark the unofficial close to training camp as the team will begin preparations for the UCLA later this week.
