Brian Polian’s first spring practice session at the University of Nevada will begin on March 27 and culminate with the annual Silver and Blue Game, which is presented by Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Nevada’s practices during the spring session will be closed to the public but two of the Wolf Pack’s scrimmages (April 6 and April 13) and the spring game will be open for free to all fans. Football alumni are welcome at practice but need to register with the Wolf Pack football office at (775) 784-6891 prior to attending.
While the exact format of the spring game has not been finalized, the event will feature a gameday-type atmosphere with cheerleaders, the band, music, the firing of the cannon, videoboard and other features available. Fans are encouraged to tailgate prior to the game and parking is available around the stadium for free.
RV parking and 30 tailgating spaces will be provided free of charge. The RV lots directly north of Mackay Stadium underneath the scoreboard will be open beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 19. To reserve an RV space, contact Meredith Montoya at (775) 682-6905 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Games for children and bounces houses will be available and concession stands at Mackay Stadium will be open. Fans are encouraged to stay after the game as Wolf Pack players and coaches will be available for pictures and autographs.
Now that the renewal process is complete, the ticket office invites fans to the spring game to check out the views from some of the best available seats in Mackay Stadium. These seats will be clearly marked and will be available for purchase in 2013 season ticket packages on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can (775) 348-PACK for access to these seats. Season tickets can be purchased starting at just $90 per seat.
