Will compete for one of the starting spots at defensive end... has been named a preseason second-team All-WAC selection by CollegeFootballNews.com and a third-team pick by Phil Steele's College Football Preview.

2005: Earned Academic All-WAC honors... played in 11 games with 10 starts... turned in 35 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss (-18 yards)... turned in a season-high seven tackles at Utah State and again in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl vs. UCF.

2004: Started six contests and played both tackle and end... made 28 tackles and had a team-leading 13 TFLs for a loss of 42 yards... also turned in a team-best five sacks (-23 yards)... turned in three tackles for a loss vs. Sacramento State... tallied six tackles with three for a loss at SMU... also made six tackles a week later at Fresno State with two tackles for loss.

2003: Played in three games... had two tackles in limited action as a redshirt freshman... was named the most improved defensive lineman following 2003 spring drills.

2002: Redshirted in his first season at Nevada... named the scout team defensive player of the year.

A graduate of Fairfield High School in Elk Grove, Calif.... was named the camp MVP on defense at the 2001 Wolf Pack Football Camp and all-defensive line at the camp in 2000... was a MEL all-league defensive selection... also earned all-county accolades in 2001 and was Fairfield's MVP lineman.
