2011: Enters his sophomore season on the depth chart behind likely starter Tyler Lantrip ... Should also see playing time on special teams as the holder for extra points and field goals.

2010: Played in two games while serving as the team's third-string quarterback ... Had one carry for 31 yards against Idaho ... Recorded a tackle against New Mexico State while playing on special teams.

2009: Did not play while redshirting his first season at Nevada ... Made the travel squad for the Sheraton Hawai`i Bowl game against SMU.

A graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis, Calif. ... Was a three-sport standout, lettering multiple years in football, basketball and baseball ... Helped Del Oro to league championships three years in a row, 2005-2007 ... As a senior, was team captain and named team MVP while earning first-team all-league honors ... Threw for 1,900 yards and rushed for 700 yards ... Was MVP of the Under Armour Camp ... As a baseball player, was a two-time first-team all-league player and an All-Metro pitcher.

Comes from the same high school as current Pack teammate Jack Reynoso and former Pack star B.J. Mitchell ... Was selected in the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles.
