Nevada: 2003: Had a great junior season with 86 tackles to rank third on the squad. Had four tackles-for-loss, one interception and three breakups. Led the team with 62 solo tackles. Named a co-captain following sping drills 2004 for the 2004 season. Nevada 2002: Led the team in tackles and interceptions. Playing free safety, he is called the quarterback of the defense. He is a hard-hitting force in the secondary. Recorded 85 total tackles with 51 of solos. Intercepted four passes and returned them for a combined 34 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown vs. San Jose State. Was in double-digits for tackles twice with 13 at UNLV to lead the team and 11 at Hawaii, also a team high. He also had two tackles for loss. Nevada 2001: Played in eight games and started two as a true freshman. Had 33 tackles, including 15 unassisted and one for a loss. High School: Enjoyed a stellar career at Placer High School in Auburn, Calif., where he left as the school's career rushing leader with 4,302 yards.
