Nevada 2003: Earned the Basalite Big Blocker Award for the win over SMU. Was a seocnd team All-WAC selection. Started all 12 games. Will be looked to for leadership and is poised for a stellar senior campaign. Part of an offensive front that has produced 1,000-yard rushers each of the past three seasons and has had the nation's leading rusher (Chance Kretchmer in 2001) and the NCAA's top receiver (Nate Burleson, 2002) in successive seasons. Nevada 2002: Played and started in 12 games after making the switch from defensive line to offensive line. Is one of the outstanding linemen that leads the high powered Wolf Pack offense. Nevada 2001: Not sure if he'll play in the offensive or defensive line but has the ability to play either with a high level of proficiency. High School: Was a three-year starter at guard and defensive tackle out of Beyer High School in Modesto, CA. As a junior, Chris was named first-team All-CCC as an offensive lineman. In his senior year, he earned first-team All-CCC on offense and defense in addition to being named first team All-District and honorable mention All-State. He was also named the CCC's Outstanding Lineman as well as being voted Beyer's MVP. He also played on the basketball team.
