2011: Expected to lock down a starting job on the offensive line, likely at one of the guard spots after shifting from tackle during the offseason.

2010: Emerged from fall camp with a starting job at one of the tackle positions and started the first four games ... Was injured in the victory over Cal and missed four games ... Returned to play the remaining six games, including his fifth start of the season as he was a key force on the Union, which paved the way for one of the top offenses in the country.

2009: Played in all 13 games with eight starts during the regular season ... Won the team's Fireman Award for stepping up in a time of need ... First career start came against Utah State and he never relinquished the starting role ... Earned first career Basalite Big Blocker Award for his play in a victory at San Jose State.
