Nevada 2003: Converted 13 of 17 field goals and 27 of 32 PAT's. Fourth all-time at Nevada in kick scoring (199) and field goals made (38) anad is seventh in PAT's (85). Had a season-long of 53 yards vs. Southern Utah. Nevada 2002: Made his only FG attempt (a 37-yarder) and converted all seven PAT's in the win over San Jose State. Had his best outing of the season with a 3-4 showing at UNLV, making 19, 25 and 37-yarders but missing from 43 yards out. Made a 28-yarder to give the Pack their first points but missed a 47-yard attempt with one second left before halftime against Rice. Finally missed a PAT at Hawaii after converting 14 straight this season and 24 dating to the Hawaii game a year ago. He added a field goal against the Warriors and now has 32 points to lead the team in scoring. Had only one PAT opportunity vs. Washington State and then converted his first field goal from 41 yards out vs. BYU and made all four PAT's. Is on the Lou Groza Award watch list as one of the nation's top kickers. Second on team in scoring with 47 points. 2001: With a school-record tying 58-yard field goal to end the half vs. UNLV and adding one earlier, he picked up his second WAC Special Teams Player-of-the-Week Award vs. UNLV. He matched another school record with five goals in a game at Rice (matching Marty Zendejas in 1985 the most recent time that had been done). He earned his first award Sept. 24 when he hit three field goals against Hawaii. The red-shirt freshman is from Indianapolis, Ind. He tied for 17th in the nation with 1.36 field goals per game and has hit 15 of 23 field goal attempts and 23 of 26 PAT's for 68 points for second on the squad. The 58-yarder is the longest in the WAC this year. Nevada 2000: Red-shirted. Is expected to win one or both of the kicking duties in 2001, competing with senior Ray Sanchez. High School: Was a three-year soccer and football letterman at Ben Davis H.S. Won Indiana state football title in 1999 and placed sixth in FOX Sports' poll that yera. Was an All-State and All-America selection. The national honor came from the Professional Kicking Service. Three-time All-marion County and named All-Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference.
