2005: Played in all 12 games, starting the first eight contests of the year... ranked eighth on the team with 35 tackles... also had two TFLs and broke up a pass on the year... turned in a season-high eight tackles in a win over Idaho... tallied seven stops vs. Washington State and six against Louisiana Tech.
2004: Earned second-team All-WAC honors in his redshirt freshman season... led the team in tackles with 97, including 48 solo stops.... started all 12 games... ranked fourth on the team with 8.0 tackles for loss (-20 yards)... tallied double digits in tackles five times with a career-best of 14 stops against Tulsa... added 13 tackles at SMU, 11 vs. Rice and 10 each vs. San Jose State and at Fresno State.
2003: Redshirted in his first season at Nevada.

A graduate of Golden West High School in Visalia, Calif.... was named a first-team All-West Yosemite League selection in 2001 and 2002... earned first-team all-area honors in 2001 and 2002 and was an all-valley honoree in 2002... was named a second-team All-West Yosemite and all-area selection in 2000 ... led the team in tackles as a junior and senior... ranked fourth in the Central Section and in the top 15 in the state in wrestling as a heavyweight... maintained a 4.0 GPA in high school.
