Will look to contribute on special teams and in the defensive backfield while also providing leadership as a senior in 2016.

Junior (2015): Did not see action on the season … Member of Nevada’s 2015 Arizona Bowl victory team.

Sophomore (2014): Saw action on special teams in four games; Boise State, Colorado State, BYU and San Diego State.

Redshirt Freshman (2013): Did not play in his first season of action with the team.

Freshman (2012): Joined the team as a true freshman and redshirted his first season at Nevada.

A graduate of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, Calif. ... Totaled 25 sacks, 125 tackles and four fumble recoveries in two seasons ... Earned All-Marmonte League honors in 2010 ... Part of Marmonte League and CIF Championship teams in 2011 ... Also lettered in track and field ... An All-Trinity Valley League selection in 2010 and 2012 ... Made honor roll in every semester at Oaks Christian ... Involved with Student Wyldlife Chapels and OCHS Concessions.

Son of Scott and Valerie Stewart ... Chose Nevada because it's a different environment compared to Southern California and it gave him an opportunity to earn a degree and play Division I college football... Majoring in accounting ... Hopes to become a forensic accountant after graduation ... Enjoys cooking in his spare time.
