Nevada: 2004: Named to the Outland Trophy Watch List in July as one of the top 57 linemen, offense or defense, in the country. In the spring, he was named to the Lombardi Award Watch List, one of 54 interior linemen named to the awards' list. 2003: Will serve as a co-captain again in 2004. Named the Basalite Big Blocker for the Southern Utah win and after the victory at Tulsa. Chance Kretschmer rushed for 170 and 171 yards, respectively, in those two games. Helped Kretschmer to five, 100-yard rushing games and protected the passers well enough to allow just 17 sacks. Named first-team, All-WAC. Picked up team's Basalite Big Blocker Award as the top offensive lineman. Was a co-captain. 2002: Was a seven game starter at right tackle as a red-shirt freshman. Picked up the Basalite Big Blocker Award for grading out as the best blocker on the team in 2002. 2001: As a true freshman, he started the last four games of the year and was a big part of the improved offensive line that produced the nation's leading rusher. Enrolled mid-year after originally signing out of high school in 2000. High School: Was an All-State selection at Churchill County H.S. in Fallon, Nev. All-League and All-Northern Nevada while there. Three-time zone champion and state titlist as a heavyweight in 1999. Personal: Born 6/24/81. Majoring in History. Parents are Joe and Nancy Dahl. |
