2014: Earned All-Mountain West honors for the third straight season, being named to the All-MW second team … Started in all 12 regular season games at defensive end … Credited with 56 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, three QB hurries and one fumble recovery on the season … His 22.5 career sacks ranks fourth-most in program history … Forced opposing teams to game plan against him, drawing double teams throughout most of the season … Registered a season-high 3.0 tackles for loss and a sack in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl … Tallied a season-high eight tackles in victory against Pac-12 foe Washington State … Tallied 1.5 sacks against Southern Utah and BYU … Ranked second on the team in sacks … Closed the 2014 regular season ranking ninth among active FBS players in career sacks with 21.5 – a mark that ranks fourth in program history.
2013: Established himself as one of the top defensive players in the conference ... Finished fourth in the conference with 9.0 sacks and tied for fourth in tackles for loss with 14.5 on the year ... Started all 12 games and recorded 48 tackles with an interception, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles on the year ... Was the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week for his dominating performance over Air Force ... In that game, he recorded six tackles (four solo) with 3.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups and one interception (the first of his career) ... Recorded at least one tackle in every game ... Had a career-high eight tackles, including two sacks, in the Pack's win over San Jose State ... 2012: Enjoyed a breakout season after claiming a starting job in fall camp ... Started all 13 games and earned second-team All-Mountain West honors ... Led the team in tackles for loss with 10.0 and in sacks with 8.0 ... Was fourth on the team with 75 tackles ... Forced a pair of fumbles and broke up two passes ... Set a career high with eight tackles against San Diego State and then broke it with 10 the next week at Air Force and broke it again with 12 against Fresno State ... Recorded first career multi-sack game with two at Hawaii and then registered two more the following week at Texas State.
2011: Did not start but saw playing time in 11 games at defensive end ... Registered seven tackles on the year ... Best performance was a three-tackle day against Idaho in the regular season finale.
2010: Joined the team as a true freshman and redshirted his first season at Nevada.
A graduate of Vacaville (Calif.) High School ... Was a two-year letterman in football ... Helped lead team to Montecello League Championship as a senior in 2009 ... Earned first-team all-league honors ... Also lettered twice in track and field.
