Nevada 2003: Had 44 tackles for eighth on the squad. Blocked two kicks at Washington in fron to fhis family and friends from Tacoma in helping the Pack upset the Huskies. Named WAC Special Teams Player-of-the-Week, Oct. 13, for his efforts in Seattle. Was team's scholar athlete and named the Most Improved Defensive Player at the awards' brunch. Named to the CoSIDA District VIII Academic squad. 2002: Started all 12 games in the 2002 season. Recorded 30 tackles, 18 solos. His best games were against Boise State and La Tech. Named a Verizon/COSIDA All-District VIII Selection. Named the sophomore academic award winner for the highest over-all GPA in the sophomore football class. He recorded five solo tackles and three assisted. tackles vs. Boise. Against La Tech he recovered two fumbles. He also had one tackle for loss. Owns the Defensive Tackle weight lifting records with 684 in the Squat and 409 Hang Clean. Nevada 2001: Started eight games, one at tackle and seven at end, as a red-shirt freshman. Had 27 tackles, 15 solos, and recovered a fumble and returned it 15 yards. Was moved inside to tackle prior to spring drills 2002. Nevada 2000: - Red-shirted but was named defensive scout team player-of-the-year for his efforts and talents. Listed No. 1 at one of the defensive tackle spots coming out of spring ball. High School: Defensive Lineman-of-the-Year in the Pierce County League (PCL) in 1999, all-state and all-area that year. Named all-league three years, 1997-98-99.
