2011 UNLV Game

Nevada wins it's seventh straight, and first shoutout, in the battle for the Fremont Cannon.


2012: Converted back to middle linebacker after starting 12 games in 2011 at defensive end and is a likely starter entering the season ... Named to Preseason All-MW Second Team by Lindy's.

2011: Started 12 of 13 games at defensive end after converting from a linebacker prior to the season ... Had a season-high five tackles in a win at San Jose State and matched that with five stops at Boise State ... Had a TFL at Oregon and 1.5 TFLs against Fresno State ... Notched his first sack of the year in a win against Idaho.

2010: Played in all 14 games as a key reserve in the linebacking corps and a standout on special teams ... Finished the season with 17 tackles ... Notched first career interception, which came in a win over Colorado State ... Also broke up a pass against Fresno State.

2009: Played in 10 games as a reserve linebacker and extensively on special teams ... Credited with four tackles on the year with two against New Mexico State ... Blocked a punt against UNLV, which was Nevada's first blocked punt since the 2005 season.

2008: Signed with Nevada in the spring of 2007 but delayed enrollment until the spring of 2008 to preserve a season of eligibility ... Redshirted his first full season with the Pack.

A graduate of De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif. ... Was a three-year letterwinner for coach Bob Ladoceur ... Helped team to a North Coast Section title in 2004, 2005 and 2006 ... As a senior in 2006, was named team's Most Valuable Player and earned first-team All-Metro, All-League and All-North Coast honors ... Was named the section's Defensive Player of the Year by Cal-Hi Sports ... Earned third-team All-State honors.
