RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada men’s basketball season tickets are now on sale. In addition to full season tickets, fans can also take advantage of one of the Pack’s two eight-game plans. The Wolf Pack will host 17 home games in the Lawlor Events Center this season.
Nevada’s home slate includes games against 2012 NCAA tournament teams UNLV, San Diego State, Colorado State and New Mexico. Both UNLV and San Diego State are ranked in the USA Today preseason top 25 at No. 19 and No. 20, respectively. New Mexico and Colorado State are receiving votes in the poll.
Full Season tickets are the most cost effective plan, providing a guaranteed seat for all 17 home games for as low as $185 with several options and great seats still available. Select lower concourse seats remain starting at $605 and include a preferred parking pass when two or more are purchased.
Fans who cannot attend all 17 games can select from two eight-game plans, the Battle Pack and Monster Pack. The Battle Pack includes games versus Green Bay, Yale, Cal Poly, Boise State, Wyoming, Colorado State, New Mexico and UNLV. Those selecting the Monster Pack will see Nevada play Southern Utah, Drake, Cal State Fullerton, San Francisco, Air Force, Fresno State, San Diego State and UNLV.
There are three seat location options for the eight-game mini pack, plaza basket starting at $97, plaza corner for $109 and plaza center seats are just $137. Delivery fees will still apply to all orders.
Groups of 20 or more interested in attending a single Pack game have three seat options from which to select. Plaza basket seats are $12, plaza corner $14 and plaza center $19. For an additional charge groups may purchase food vouchers to be used at the Lawlor concession stands. The Silver and Blue room is also available to rent for pregame activities.
Individual game tickets will not go on sale until November 1. Due to the demand on full season tickets and the eight-game plans, San Diego State, UNLV, and New Mexico single game tickets will not go on sale until December 17. Full season ticket holders will have access to single game tickets before the general public.
Nevada returns three starters and 10 letterwinners from last year’s Western Athletic Conference championship team that posted a 28-7 record for head coach David Carter. The Pack will be led into the Mountain West by 2012 WAC Player of the Year Deonte Burton and his running mate Malik Story. Story finished the 2012 campaign as one of the NCAA’s best three-point shooters, draining 41.6 percent of his attempts. All-WAC defensive selection Jerry Evans, Jr. is back to cause opponents havoc.
The Pack will host Oregon Tech in an exhibition contest on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. which is free to the public. The regular season gets underway on Nov. 10 at UC Irvine followed by three home games in the World Vision Classic versus Cal State Fullerton, Green Bay and Southern Utah, Nov. 16-18.
The Wolf Pack will host seven teams that played in the postseason in 2012 including five Mountain West opponents (San Diego State, UNLV, Colorado State, New Mexico and Wyoming).
