Nevada will play on national television 13 times this season.
RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's basketball team will have 12 regular season games on national television this season. The 2014 Reese's Mountain West Championship will also air nationally adding a minimum of one additional game to the television schedule.
The Wolf Pack's two games at the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational being played at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas will be the first appearances for Nevada on television. The Nov. 28 game with UCLA and Nov. 29 contest with Missouri will air on ESPN3. The Dec. 10 Nevada game at California is being broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
The remaining nine regular season games are MW contests. ROOT Sports will carry the Jan. 4 home game with Wyoming and Feb. 5 contest at Utah State.
CBS Sports Network has a pair of Pack road games this season Jan. 8 at UNLV and Feb. 15 at New Mexico. Three MW games will air on ESPN3 on Feb. 8 at San Diego State, Mar. 2 at home with New Mexico and the Mar. 8 home game with UNLV.
The Mountain West Network will air both games with Boise State, in Reno on Jan. 14 and on the road Mar. 5.
All 11 games of the MW Championship will be shown on one of three networks. The MWN will air the first day of the MW Championship on Mar. 12. CBS Sports Network will show the Mar. 13 quarterfinal games and both of the Mar. 14 semifinal games. For the second straight year, CBS will televise the championship game of the tournament, at 3 p.m. on Mar. 15.
