RENO, Nev. The Wolf Pack Sports Network has reached a three-year agreement with MY 21 KAME-TV to televise Wolf Pack football and basketball games starting with the 2007-08 season and running through the 2009-10 season.
“Steve Cummings and the dedicated staff of MY 21 KAME-TV displayed great pride and enthusiasm for making their station the home of Wolf Pack Sports in northern Nevada,” said Andy McDowell, general manager of Wolf Pack Sports Properties. “We are thrilled to televise our locally produced football and basketball games on MY 21 TV and to promote the telecasts across FOX 11 and MY 21 TV. They will undoubtedly become an outstanding media partner for the University of Nevada.”
The Wolf Pack Sports Network and MY 21 KAME-TV will televise a total of 12 football, men's basketball, and women's basketball games this year, starting with football games at Utah State on Oct. 20 and at San Jose State on Nov. 24. Games also will be carried live or delayed on Comcast SportsNet West, putting Wolf Pack games in the homes of fans in northern Nevada, the Bay Area and northern and central California. The broadcast schedule for Wolf Pack men’s and women’s basketball games will be announced later this fall.

KAME-TV Channel 21 (My21TV) begins its 27th year of broadcasting in Reno, providing service to northern Nevada and eastern California. KAME-TV is a MyNetworkTV affiliate, a primetime general entertainment broadcast television network. MyNetworkTV is operated in Reno by Cox Broadcasting and is part of the FOX family which includes; FOX Broadcasting, FOX Sports, FOX News Channel and the F/X Network.
Including the broadcasts on MY 21 KAME-TV, all six of the Wolf Pack’s road football games this season will be televised back to fans in northern Nevada. ABC will televise Nevada’s Sept. 1 opener at Nebraska to a regional audience, while the Sept. 8 game at Northwestern will be available on the Big Ten Network. ESPN will broadcast Nevada’s game at Boise State on Sunday, Oct. 14, while KAME-TV will carry the Oct. 20 contest at Utah State. Nevada’s Nov. 2 game at New Mexico State will be shown on ESPN2, while KAME-TV will round out Nevada’s television schedule by broadcasting the Nov. 24 contest at San Jose State.
