RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada head men’s basketball coach David Carter has announced that juniors Jordan Burris, Devonte Elliott and Kevin Panzer have decided to transfer from the Wolf Pack basketball program.
“I wish them success in the future,” said Carter.
Junior point guard Deonte Burton is expected to make a decision about his return for his senior year or declare for the NBA draft later this month.
Nevada signed the Washington Player of the Year, D.J. Fenner in November. The 6-6, guard averaged 27.3 points per game as prep senior.
Burris played in 95 games and started 22 in his three seasons at Nevada. The 6-7 guard averaged 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds during his Pack career.
The 6-10 Elliott appeared in 98 games and started 11 in his three years in the Silver & Blue. He averaged 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 points per game.
Panzer started 30 games this past season and played in 97 with 40 starts in his three seasons. For his career he averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds.
