2013-14 (So.): Played in 27 games earning two road starts at Cal Poly and San Francisco for an injured Jerry Evans, Jr. ... Missed five games with an eye injury that required surgery and forced him to wear glasses on the floor ... Scored in double figures five times including a then career-high 15 vs. Missouri at the Las Vegas Tournament ... Made 5-of-9 shots in the Missouri game including 1-of-2 three-pointers and all four free throw attempts ... Earned the Pack’s Sixth Man Award for the second year in a row ... Three double figure scoring games came in a four-game stretch at the end of November with 10 against Chattanooga then back-to-back games in the Las Vegas Tournament with 11 vs. UCLA and 15 versus Missouri ... 2012-13 (Fr.): Played in all 31 games in his first year at Nevada to earn his first basketball letter ... Selected as Pack’s Sixth Man Award recipient ... Started the final two games of the season posting back-to-back then career highs with 12 points at Colorado State and 14 against Wyoming in the MW Tournament ... Led the Pack in rebounding the final two games with five at Colorado State and seven versus Wyoming which also set then back-to-back career bests ... Five times scored in double figures ... Scored 45 percent (64-of-141) of his points at the free throw making 64-of-83 ... With Nevada trailing Air Force 67-66 stole the ball made the layup and converted the free throw after being fouled to put the Pack up 69-67 with 31 seconds left as Nevada went on to win 74-69 ... Three times at home scored 11 points in a game vs. Green Bay, Cal State San Marcos and Fresno State ... Averaged 4.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in 14 minutes per game ... Only three-pointer made came in the final game of the year versus Wyoming in the MW Tournament.
Helped Bishop Alemany High School, Mission Hills, Calif. to the Division III state title, Mission League championship and Southern Section Division III-A title as the team posted a 33-4 record ... Selected as the Cal-Hi Sports/ESPN High School Division III California Player of the Year and received the prestigious John Wooden Award as the Division III California Player of the Year ... Co-Mission League and co-Southern Section Player of the Year ... LA Times All-Star ... Scored 27 points in Alemany’s 71-67 victory over Sacred Heart Cathedral in the Division III state championship ... MVP of the 17th Annual Valley Sports Foundation Battle of the Valley all star game after scoring 32 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, dishing out four assists as his east squad won 133-111 ... Averaged 21.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.4 assists his senior year for coach Tray Meeks who was named the LA Times Coach of the Year.
