Became eligible to play on December 27 versus San Jose State and promptly scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds...Played in 18 games and started 10, including the last eight to end the season...Named to the WAC All-Newcomer team...Averaged 13.7 ppg and 4.6 rpg...Had 15 blocks in 18 games, which tied him for second on the team with Kevinn Pinkney...Scored a season-high 22 points against Hawai'i on February 28...Hit a game-winning 3-point basket with four seconds remaining against Fresno State at home to help upset the Bulldogs, 88-85...Shot .377 (81-of-215) from the field...In WAC games only, ranked 11th in scoring (14.1 ppg)...Third on the team with 19, 3-pointers made.
Averaged 20.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.3 blocks per game as a senior at Upland HS in Upland, Calif...Played for head coach Jeff Klein...Named CIF I-AAA Player of the Year...Earned first team all-state division I honors as a senior and was named first team all-CIF as both a junior and senior becoming the first Upland HS player to accomplish the honor...Named first team all-Baseline Conference and MVP as a senior... Earned all-tournament honors in five of six tournaments during his junior and senior years...Rated the fifth-best small forward on the West Coast by Pac-West Hoops, third-best combo forward in California by Fullcourt Recruiting Service and Joel Francisco's SoCal's Finest Scouting Report ranked him the 17th best player in all of California.
