“We are extremely excited about this group of players,” Powers said. “Brooks provides us with a quality left-handed bat for our lineup with great experience and the five freshmen are all kids who can compete right away for us. Brady and Nick will be huge additions to our pitching staff and will all definitely contribute on the mound as freshmen. We are really happy to have these two in our program as the future of our pitching staff. Kyle gives us an extremely competitive presence and leadership potential as a shortstop and Ryan provides us versatility with his ability to play multiple positions and is a real power presence offensively.”
“This group is as good a group as we have had sign with us in many years” added Powers. “My two assistants Chris and Buddy did a great job of identifying these quality players and first class individuals and aggressively stayed with them so we could sign them.”
